Hidden gem in Riyadh. Finding Sushi offers a relaxed, youthful vibe with both indoor seating and a cozy outdoor terrace that’s especially enjoyable at night. We ordered a variety of rolls and starters, including the FS California Roll, Spicy Salmon Roll, Spicy California Roll, Philadelphia Roll, Rainbow Roll, Salmon Bomb, Dragon Roll (unagi), Salmon Tartare, Edamame, Salmon Sashimi, and fried rice. One thing done really well is that the rolls have relatively little rice, allowing the flavour of the fish to stand out more—this makes a noticeable difference in the overall experience. The freshness across the dishes is also a clear highlight. The salmon sashimi was a standout—generous cuts, excellent quality, and beautifully presented. Truly on another level. The Salmon Bomb roll was another highlight and definitely worth trying. The Dragon Roll was also excellent—unagi can sometimes have an unpleasant smell, but that was not the case here. That said, a few points could be improved. The salmon tartare presentation is not ideal—it shouldn’t come with lettuce, as this impacted the taste and overshadowed the salmon pieces, making them hard to notice (see photo). The ginger itself wasn’t bad, but the pickling process could be improved, as it didn’t effectively cleanse the palate. Additionally, the crab sticks used in the rolls were not of great quality. They also only offer plastic cutlery instead of metal, which is not ideal, especially for kids. The fried rice had too much soy sauce, the prawns were overcooked, although the chicken was prepared very well. On the positive side, pricing is very reasonable for the quality and portions offered, making it good value for money. Overall, a laid-back place with strong potential—worth visiting, especially for the sashimi, the balanced rolls, the freshness, and the ambience.
