The STEAK it comes with a nice sized salad, chimi churry is excellent on the steak or as a dressing for the nice sized side salad. A side of mashed potatoes or other veggie. Absolutely recommend, The steak is cooked very nicely, nice flavor development on the outside of steak, internal temp on point. & the portion size is generous or reasonable for the price. If you are hungry & want to be filled a nice protein & with healthy sides. This is 10/10 dish & I would re-order again. Bravo to the kitchen Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Fireclay Patio was such a great little find in DC. Part of what makes it fun is that it doesn’t really show up on Google Maps, so it feels like the kind of place you just stumble upon and immediately want to stay awhile. The vibe is super chill, with shaded outdoor seating, good music, and a relaxed setup that makes it perfect for an afternoon happy hour. They have happy hour every day from 4 to 6 PM, which is a nice bonus, especially if you’re looking for somewhere easygoing before dinner. We tried the hibiscus watermelon margarita and the Piñalada, and both were really good. The hibiscus watermelon margarita was refreshing and perfect for a warm afternoon. Overall, it’s a great spot to unwind with a drink, enjoy the music, and take a break from walking around DC. It is pricey and they auto add 20% gratuity si watch out for that! That's Spicy

Came through specifically to see what Fireclay is doing on the spicy side and it delivered more heat than expected. The Spicy Shrimp Bucatini is not playing around. This is not a light “hint of spice” situation. It has real heat that builds as you go, with a deep tomato base that actually holds up to it. The shrimp are solid, the pasta is rich, and the spice level leans legit. If you like heat, this is the move. The Hot Crispy Chicken Sandwich also brings it. Good crunch, properly sauced, and an actual kick that sticks around. Not extreme, but definitely above average for a hotel restaurant. Bonus that it comes sliced, which makes it easy to share but you might not want to. Even the Duck Confit Bao Buns have a little edge from the peppers. Not a spicy dish overall, but a nice contrast that keeps it from feeling heavy. If you are expecting mild hotel spice, this will surprise you. It is not challenging level heat, but it is real, balanced, and intentional. Spice verdict: worth it. Would come back for the bucatini alone.
