This place is absolutely stellar. People are amazingly friendly and kind. Food and smoothies are top notch. Their lemon blueberry pastry cake pastry is incredible and will knock your socks off! I was sitting there for several hours doing computer stuff for work and after some time, one of the gals, Bree (sp?) approached me. I thought she was gonna throw me out - instead they gave me a mushroom based drink on the house. It too was delicious! I am an outsider who instantly felt like I belonged and was at home. I can’t wait to go back, tbh. Rico is a very small place, however that doesn’t mean you have to give up going to an exquisite cafe. And the prices were very reasonable; better than any darn Starbucks from that stand point and every other!! Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Friendly, welcoming coffee shop. We were staying south of Rico for the week and visited every day they were open for coffee or a Shiver Stick. Staff was kind. Coffees were great. We also loved the Huckleberry sodas and Shiver Stick Popsicles after a long day of hiking. We are from WI and we were happy to see Organic Valley dairy products from our neck of the woods!! Price per person: $1–10

Great coffee, very nice people and they had farm eggs. It seems to be the hub for this little community of Rico. It has great space inside and out and is dog friendly. They need to update their hours on Google maps. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10
