Not only should Medal of Honor Heritage Center be visited, but also First Watch. Nicely cooked bacon, frittata and eggs benedict can make a favorable impression on you. It's worth visiting this cafe to try tasty French toasts, blueberry pancakes and egg waffles. Good Mimosas will make your meal tastier and you'll surely come back. When visiting First Watch, it's a must to try great fresh juices, French coffee or tea.

The great location of this place makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. The pleasant staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place wonderful. This spot is remarkable for its professional service. Based on the guests' opinions, prices are reasonable. You will certainly like the enjoyable atmosphere and cute decor. This cafe scored 4.5 in the Google rating system.

Party of two arrived around 8:30 and we were seated immediately bc there were quite a few available tables. It took approximately 15 minutes for our server to make it to our table. We had a similar experience on our last trip with the same server. Turns out that our food experience would also be similar as well. I ordered over medium eggs that were as done as a hard boiled egg and yet still served to me. Why would a cook or wait staff think it is alright to send out an order that is obviously not what the customer ordered. I suspect most people just take it like I did last time but this morning I wasn’t going to just accept it. After asking for the eggs to be prepared again as requested a second batch came out equally as overdone as the first. I accepted it because my waffle and bacon were already cold and I was just ready to get out of there. After this repeat experience there is absolutely no way I will eat at First Watch ever again. There are too many alternatives that will actually give you what you ask for and would never make an assumption that you will just accept whatever they decide to give you. 05/10/2026: After spending $237, I'm uncertain where to begin, it was evident this was a poor decision from the moment we checked in with the host. Upon arrival, we were informed that our online waitlist registration was invalid due to the size of our party. My daughter-in-law had joined the waitlist believing the wait would be 30–40 minutes, but once we checked in, the host told us it would be another 30–40 minutes and that we would receive a text when our table was ready. An hour later, we checked on the status of our seating. The host told my daughter-in-law they were waiting for patio tables to become available so they could combine them for our party of 12. Shortly afterward, we watched them seat a party of four on the patio. I approached the host again, and after consulting with a colleague, they claimed they were still waiting for tables to open up and assured me we were next in line. They even showed me our position on their tablet. Not five minutes later, I noticed four open tables on the patio. When I asked about them, the host suddenly explained they were preparing to seat a party of 15 there. I questioned how that was possible after being told we were next for a large party, but all I received was another assurance that they were “working on it.” Eventually, we were seated in two separate booths across a busy aisle from each other with two different servers. The aisle led directly to the patio, so servers and guests were constantly passing through, making it nearly impossible for our family to interact comfortably. The staff also appeared overwhelmed, and we found ourselves helping servers open doors just to prevent food from being dropped. Things only worsened from there. We ultimately had one server, Jes, for both booths. Drinks arrived with little to no ice, and we did not receive enough straws. Our server disappeared for nearly 50 minutes before returning with some of the food. Plates were dropped off and she immediately left again, giving us no chance to request refills or additional items. We eventually flagged down another server for straws and asked someone else to send our server back over. When she returned, I explained that we needed refills, two meals were cold, and my own meal could be canceled since everyone else — including a table seated after us — had already been served. Refills eventually arrived, but one drink was still missing. We are not from this area and were visiting for our daughter-in-law’s graduation. She requested brunch before we headed home, but none of us will ever return to this establishment. Perhaps they underestimated the Mother’s Day crowd, but the customer service was unacceptable. Our waitlist indicated a 10:00 AM seating time, yet we were not seated until 11:09 AM, and food did not arrive until 12:04 PM. For those who were able to eat, the food was satisfactory; the rest of us either took our meals to go or left them behind. Meal type: Brunch
