I’m deeply disappointed by my recent experience at First Watch in Miami Lakes. I was seated with my small, trained service dog and had no issues with staff until one employee, Shanita, approached me Shanita, approached me and told me my dog was not allowed, insisting I move outside. Her tone was confrontational. and disrespectful. When I calmly asked another staff member for a supervisor’s contact, Shanita inserted herself again in an aggressive manner. Service animals are protected under the ADA. The way this was handled was unacceptable and needs to be addressed. I expect proper staff training and a response from management.

I’ve been at many First Watch locations for dine-in and I love the food, but this is the second time I order to go from this location and they do what they want. Today I ordered the 1/2 sandwich and salad with Cobb salad, and I got whatever salad, it doesn’t even look like any other one in the menu, with NO DRESSING at all, both the sandwich and salad are supposed to include avocado, but I didn’t receive a tiny piece of it. The presentation so bad. I don’t know if it’s the standard of this location for the takeout orders, but I don’t think I will purchase from this again, not for takeout for sure! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Food: 2 Service: 1

What a great experience was to eat at First Watch. The food was very yummy, and the service was really good. The atmosphere was relaxed and the noise level was ok, you could talk and listen with no problem. Not like in other coffee shops. The food came out quick and at the right temperature. Great service, yummy food. It is important to make a reservation because this place most times is packed. Kudos to management for running such a tight ship. I highly recommend this place for breakfast or lunch. Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
