We finally tried First Watch for lunch after seeing how busy it always seems to be. There were about 15 people waiting when we arrived at 1:00 p.m., but we were pleasantly surprised to be seated within five minutes. Our waitress was friendly, and the restaurant is spacious and attractive. Unfortunately, the food did not match the popularity. My husband ordered the Bacado omelet and said the bacon must have been left over from the day before; it was so dry and hard it actually hurt his gums. He could barely find any avocado in the omelet, and the seasoned potatoes were heavily blackened on one side of each piece as though they had been sitting on the flat top way too long. I had the grilled roast beef and Havarti sandwich. The bread was squished and flattened paper-thin in the middle, the roast beef had a really odd processed, chemical-like flavor, and the sandwich was overly salty. The tomato basil soup was watery tasting, diluted, bland, -- more like thickened tomato water with no hint of any basil. Even the coffee was weak and flavorless. We don't mind paying for a good breakfast or lunch in town, but this meal was disappointing from start to finish. Friendly service, but based on our food experience, we won't be returning. Next time we'll go back across the street to the Midway shopping Center where we've had several excellent daytime meals. Meal type: Brunch Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Just finished a wonderful Mother’s Day Brunch at this establishment and I can honestly say.I see why the hype occurs. It lives up to the billing in every way. Aden was a fantastic server and was attentive for all of our needs, despite the craziness that was ensuing with the packed restaurant. We had an assortment of items to partake, but the stars were the Chimichuri Steak Hash and the Strawberry Tres Leches French toast. Absolutely divine in every way. I’d go as far to say two of the best breakfast dishes I’ve ever had. Million dollar bacon was also incredibly tasty. A perfect way to start a meal. Overall, this was a top rated experience. Be sure to use the waitlist to your advantage! This place gets crowded very quickly. We will absolutely be back. A true treat in every way. Meal type: Brunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

This is my first time here and I can’t wait to come back. The service was incredible and the food. Wow! They also offer their coffee to go! Bee was our waitress and she was as kind as can be.
