Clean and open with a couple of window ledges to perch on to while waiting. Quite a big step at the entrance, which can get a bit slippery in the rain. Very friendly, approachable staff and reasonably quick service. The smoked sausage is basically a chunky hotdog in both texture and flavour, but was very enjoyable with great snap. The fish was a good size for a large and had a good, flaky texture. The batter was a little lacking in places and really rather more greasy than I would expect, but had good flavour anyway. Not impressed by the chips. They felt a substandard 'chippy chip' and the 'Medium' portion is just about equivalent to a small at my more local places. I dread to think what a small portion would look like here. Overall the sausage was good, but the chips were underwhelming and the fish standard.
