Such a great spot. The hake, calamari and chips special was an incredible amount of food. It was fresh and tasty. The staff were wonderful, friendly and efficient. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Through Rooiels, decided we’ll stop in Kleinmond. Quite a few restaurants on the way to the sea front – Kabeljoe’s sounded nice, but a bit pricey for a quick lunch. Spotted a small fish shop just up the road – Fisherman's Take Away - ordered a fishcake and small chips for me, battered hake and chips for Hein Pretorius and 2 pickled onions. Fabulous fishcake, yum chips, spicy pickled onions and battered fried hake! I always love the end bits of battered fish – when Hein couldn’t finish his fish, I wasn’t interested in the fish, only the crispy outside skin. Delicious! Quite a few people stopped and ordered lunch . Oh and all that food was only R119!!!
