Great food, drinks, wine, and service!! Our server Laura was truly amazing. Absolutely was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had! My favourites were the tuna tartar and the short rib. A relative who lives locally recommended The Five Fishermen, and I'm glad we took her advice! The lobster was the best I've ever had! Luxurious but still welcoming ambiance a few steps away from the liveliness of the harbour. It was all simply exquisite all around: first off, service. Our server Mercedes made our dinner feel special and offered great advice. She's a treasure. We also should thank the rest of the staff: I mixed up our reservation time and they were very accommodating. Someone who I think was management checked in on us: we felt very cared for amidst the overall professionalism and attention to detail. The quality of the food is very high! The cocktails had wonderful depth of flavour. On our server's advice, we added lobster and scallops to the delicious seafood platter to share. We finished with a wonderful Panna cotta. Overall, everything felt elevated and worth the cost. My one suggestion is to not go if totally famished: the portions were reasonable, but not excessive. When the food is this good, that's perfectly understandable. For the cost-conscious, this is a wonderful precision splurge that gives excellent value for the money, and favors quality over quantity.
