This place was great when it first opened... but since it has opened quality has steadily declined, while the price has greatly increased, the prices they charge u aren't the price listed on their flyers and they stopped carrying French fries cause they didn't want to buy oil for the fryer.... Much better places to spend your $ on some quality food. Very disappointed cause I do like to support smaller local business's.

TASTY, FRESH, AFFORDABLE, what more can I ask for.... Excellent Paninis, delicious and hearty soups and to die for salads. I've been to Five Star Panini about 8 times since they opened this winter. I must say that this is the freshest and tastiest sandwich place I've been to in Ottawa. And it's very reasonable price, $7.99 for a combo. I always I have to take half of the sandwich to go. / The staff is extremely friendly and fast. And my favourite part of is the spiced tea.
