Cockroach alert! We went to the Flame Tree Restaurant to have some hot pot. Every thing went well in the beginning and we were really enjoying it and the layout looked impressive, tasted good too. BUT WE FOUND A COCKROACH IN OUR HOT POT SOUP. When we raised the concern and showed the staff the cockroach, no one from the management bothered to come talk to us. The staff came back telling us that the chef explained that sometimes cockroaches are around the cooking area and can fall in. We were shocked! As they expected that we continued eating the same hot pot, then they offered if we wanted a new hot pot - given how they think it’s normal for a cockroach to fall into the food - we paid in full and left. No consideration was offered or given. Cockroaches in food means bad hygiene practices not something that’s normal.

We went here for dinner and bought food for a lot we couldn’t finish (we paid for it) but we where not allowed to take away, although the table was full with food that all went to waste. I offered to pay for take away (we didn’t want nothing for free) they did not allow. Extremely bad. After talking to the manager we where allowed but the staff did not allow although we offered to pay. Service: 1
