I haven’t had Jamaican food this amazing in a long time! Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We got the beef feet and chicken stew for our proteins, and both were so flavorful and satisfying. I didn’t even get a chance to take pictures because we dug right in! Highly recommend this place, and we’ll definitely be back! So apparently there's only 1 place in all of Providence to find authentic Yard Food (Jamaican cuisine), Flames. Is it authentic, seasoned right and well portioned? Yes. However, all that good stuff is overshadowed by the high prices & too much scotch bonnet!! Yes, island cuisine is usually spicy, but as a chef, a foodie and a Jamaican, I couldn't fully enjoy the food due to the over peppering. Spice it, but don't kill it. 3 stars. They have no competition, so if Flames scales back on the price & spice...easily 5 stars.
