As we'll be moving to the area soon, we decided to scout the town for some local fare and stumbled upon Flamin Feathers. As I'm a big fan of smash burgers and chicken sandwiches (these days, who isn't?), we decided to pop in. We started off with the Hot Honey Mozzy Sticks. They were hands down the best fried mozzarella sticks I've ever had. Perfectly crispy outside and gooey, stretchy inside with a good cheese-pull. Unfortunately after setting the bar so high, everything was just "okay" from here on. The Flamin Hot Chicken Sandwich was definitely good, but having lived in a city with a dozen hot chicken sandwich shops, I've had better. The real letdown was the Signature Wagyu Smash. I had high hopes for this burger, never having had a smash made with Wagyu beef. Sadly I was disappointed as this burger did not live up to my expectations. My main complaint was the lack of any seasoning whatsoever. Isn't that the point of a smashburger? But to make it worse, I realized after the fact that the reason it tasted so bland was the lack of the "signature sauce". I assume this was an oversight, but for now I'm left with a bad taste (or lack thereof) in my mouth. Because the mozzarella sticks were just that good, I'm sure we'll be back to give the burger a second chance. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Got the smash burgers and hot honey mozzarella sticks. The food was good but I wish they made the Pattie’s a bit more smashed and added some salt it was lacking that in my burgers. The hot honey mozzarella sticks were very fresh, hot, crunchy and had an awesome cheese pull but they were “hot” at all just more honey flavor than spicy.
