(visits: 15+) Flat Kitchen is a great chill place to grab a drink or bite to eat. The owner is fantasticly nice. The place is foreigner friendly, but super popular with Japanese alike. The only place I've been to in Fukui that has Heartland beer. The food is great. Also something special. Great cheeses or marinated smoked salmon on french bread. Stuff like that. It's a great place on the very edge of Katamachi that surprisingly doesn't force a seating charge on you. So it's a great place to have a beer or two or start your night out.
