After a walk around Warren Engine Co. No. 1 Museum, many visitors stop by this restaurant. Here, you can discover the recipes and ingredients of the Indian cuisine. Nicely cooked lamb curry, butter chicken and lamb vindaloo have a nice taste. As it is known from the guests' comments, good yogurt is a must-try here. When visiting Flavors of India, it's a must to try delicious wine or good beer. Choose great mango lassi, you will hardly regret it.

At this place, you can order food as a takeaway. The success of this spot wouldn't be possible without the cheerful staff. Fine service is something clients like here. Prices at this restaurant claim to be attractive. The homey decor and peaceful atmosphere let guests feel relaxed here. Flavors of India has got 4.5 on the Trip site.

We have been looking for a new Indian restaurant for a while now after our local that we loved, seemed to loose direction. On the spur of the moment we decided to try Flavor of India in Carson. Wow,what a pleasant experience from the moment we arrived the greeting and service was exemplary. The food was everything we expected and of great quality I had the chicken vindaloo and my wife the lamb Rogan Josh. The spice level was perfect.  If you love Indian cuisine like we do I suggest  you make an effort to get to Flavor of India. Did I mention you could eat off the floor such is the cleanliness. We will be back often.

No buffet any more. Food is good but small portions and its quite expensive for the portions they had.  Usually indian food are more affordable but this place its on the pricey side.

So yummy. Although Ray finds just about everything too spicy and Dolly TRIED to keep it to a minimum. We had both of our choices with 0 to negative spice so Ray could have them. The lamb was so tender! Lamb Curry. Butter Chicken is always a simple choice. It was quite tasty as well. We opened with some Vegetable Pakora with Tamarind sauce, being gluten free I usually have poppadom at Indian restaurants but apparently that is not really a North Indian thing. So Dolly suggested we try these. They were good too. Dolly suggested we come for lunch buffet so Ray can try little bits of lots of things to find non spicy for him. We will be back. One of the things I like most about this place is it is one of the Green Up Carson City restaurants. Along with others like Scoups and Gather, Flavors of India pays attention to sustainability and managing their waste. Dolly in particular has a great system where her waste food, which is minimal really, goes to a family farm that turns out items she can use at the restaurant. Totally cool. You'll notice too that you are served water without a straw, one of my pet peeves  is being given a straw without asking if I want one.
