The interior is nice, but the overall experience didn’t live up to it. While the food was okay, the service was very slow—especially considering the restaurant was only half full it took them forever to serve the food. Combined with the high prices, it's just not somewhere I'd choose to go back to. Price per person: A$80–100 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

It’s such a unique experience to see and chat to the Chef/Owner. Nicki has an infectious laugh and clearly has a lot of passion for what she does. My favourites where the sashimi, pork belly and trout. They all had this delicious Smokey flavour, a signature yet not over powering. I really loved a pickled grape with the loin of lamb. We ate at Flint on a Saturday evening. Our booking was for 4 people at 7:30pm. The menu is beautifully simple and seasonal. It is so perfectly “Smith St”. My only suggestion would to use more diffuse lighting in the little room at the top of the restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Price per person: $80–100

The food and overall experience were incredible. The cocktails were unique and delicious, and we loved sitting at the bar watching the chef cook. The food came out in stages, which made it feel like a proper experience rather than just a quick meal. Highly recommend. We’ll definitely be back to try the whisky ice cream and whisky cocktail. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
