If anyone gave this spot less than 5 stars, just go ahead and disregard. SUCH a delicious little bakery. She is a bit tight so be mindful there is a lot to look at in an intimate space but the baked goods are FABULOUS. I got the cheese bagel multiple times while I was in Kyoto and it tastes very similar to the dough in a US bagel just doesn’t have the hole and is stuffed with cheese. Warmed it up a bit and it was truly one of the most scrumptious bites I had on the trip. Also got the chicken, onion and cheese topped roll which was sublime. Lots of smiling faces in the store and an abundance of warmth between the petite bakery, the people and the baked goodies. In Tokyo now and already missing my little Kyoto style cheese bagel.

I’ve been visiting this bakery three days in a row, and I must say, it’s my new favorite! It’s the perfect place for breakfast, and the food is absolutely delicious. I’ve tried six items so far, and I’ve loved every single one. The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the staff is incredibly friendly.
