We were in a hurry to get to our flight, the bartender made sure we got our food right away. The food was amazing, drinks were awesome, it was a great quick stop. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $20–30

This place was a HUGE disappointment! I first heard about it in Fall 2022 and finally tried it July 2026. My nephew was visiting and I told him, let’s try New Mexican cuisine in Chicago. He starts college at UNM this Fall. New Mexican cuisine is NOT TexMex. It’s known for the flavorful spices and red and green chile. It’s difficult to find outside of New Mexico. It’s available in El Paso, Texas and you may find some decent food in Colorado and AZ. Unfortunately it is not available in Chicago. Flo doesn’t come close. The salsa wasn’t flavorful but tasted tomato based. Everything tasted fried. I got a disappointing red chile carne. The sopapilla was more fried than a delicious pillowy desert. What’s up with adding a few to use a credit card? I’m seeing that more in Chicago and it’s annoying. Finally, we were there for lunch and the restaurant was dark and dank and smelled.
