Loved it here. Amazing menu that allowed us to try new flavour combinations and the food was perfect, not a single dish was unfinished. Drinks were unique but lovely. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £60–70 Dietary restrictions: You can add a nite to your booking and are asked upon entry to allow the servers to ask the chefs to edit the menu to accommodate (where possible).

This is - without a doubt - one of the best (if not, the best) restaurants in Cornwall. We had an exceptional experience from start to finish, and cannot fault anything. Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Myself and my family visited Flora for the first time over the Easter weekend. We had made a table reservation for the morning and when we arrived there were only two other people in the cafe. The staff were notably unfriendly upon arrival. We weren’t greeted when we walked in, no-one asked if we had a reservation, no “hello, please take a seat”not even a “good morning” and a smile. After seating ourselves and waiting for a member of staff that didn’t appear, I went to the counter and asked for a food menu. The girl behind the counter pointed upwards towards a blackboard and said “it’s on there”, irritated I hadn’t seen it. I awkwardly went back to the table. We had the breakfast plate which was very nice, the chai latte was on the weak side, but the rest of the table enjoyed their coffee. When we went back to the counter to pay I told the member of staff how nice the food was and she barely looked at me to acknowledge me. The two girls working in there hadn’t cracked a smile once, which is such a shame because it’s a lovely little place but the reception was frosty. Speaking of frosty, it was lucky they had a log burner going inside the cafe as it was quite cold inside. The log burner made it just about bearable. Overall, it’s a 3/5 establishment.
