Passing by Carnegie Center for Art & History, visit this bar. The unique characteristic of Floyd County Brewing Company is serving good carnitas, fish & chips and potted shrimps. You may be offered such food as tasty bread pudding, Brezeln and cheesecakes, come here and try them. A lot of visitors order delicious stout, craft beer or pale ale. Take your chance to taste great espresso or good ice tea.

Oftentimes when I’m in Louisville I stay at Caesars Southern Indiana. The casino’s food options are pathetic, so I ventured out to find Floyd County Brewing Company (you probably pass it on Main St. if you’re going to the casino). I’ve been a few times and the service is always top notch, the selection of locally crafted beers is great (I’ve not had one I don’t like), and the food is of great quality (I usually get a burger). Most recently I got the “Sirloin & The Shrimps” and substituted the grilled veggies for the mashed potatoes. All was seasoned great and the steak was cooked to perfection (rare). I highly recommend Floyd County Brewing Company if you’re in the area or at the casino (it’s better than anything they have to offer).
