I know I'm going to sound bias but oh well! I love Brooklyn and all the neighborhood restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops I come across in my travels. This sunny Saturday I was in Park Slope and happened to see this lovely bakery/cafe. Everything looked so pretty. The young man that helped me was very pleasant and his father was equally pleasant. I ordered the almond croissant and an iced coffee. I should have sat there to eat because the seating area was very quaint and peaceful but I had to eat on the run. When I got in my car I couldn't wait to take a bite of the croissant and I'm so glad I did. It was the best croissant I ever had. It was buttery and flaky, the filling was delicious with a hint of sweetness and the sliced almonds on top made it even better. The iced coffee was refreshing and was a delightful compliment to the croissant. If you're in the area please stop in and taste all the delectable pastries they offer. I believe they also make custom cakes. Enjoy!
