Okay. This place is probably the best place if you want nigiri with udon! A hidden gem - The portion size is excellent!!! We got two of the prawn tempura udon + sashimi set. $29each. You get 6 healthy portions of nigiri + 2prawn tempura with udon. The prawn is very crispy and big, the udon is big big big and they put in bok choi with tofu skins. - The nigiri comes fresh and the fish slices are nice and thick. Love love how they give you two pieces of salmon and the onion topping with sauce just cuts through the oiliness - the food comes out quickly - tea and condiments are self serve and you can get as much as you want. - there are plenty of seats You can’t get this quality for this price in NZ. I hope more people come here and they do well enough so they don’t have to up the prices. Will definitely bring my husband soon. Plenty of free parking! I think the only thing they really need to work on is marketing. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: NZ$20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Defiantly have vegetarian options

We had dinner for two and spent around $150, but honestly it wasn’t worth it. The food looked fancy, but the overall dining experience and service didn’t match the price point. We ordered a large dish to share, but no personal plates were given when it was served, and there was no explanation at all that customers had to grab their own plates (a cheap side dish plate provided) from a self-service corner. Even the serviettes, paper cups for water, and chopsticks were the cheap single-use type, which didn’t really suit the style of food or prices they offer. I also wish the servers explained the dishes a bit more, as there were no descriptions or photos on the menu, but nothing was really introduced to us. The sushi was also very disappointing. Tasteless and very bland. The rice kept breaking apart and the fish was falling off every piece we tried. The sashimi was nothing special either, definitely not something I would call “deluxe.” We also ordered the pork and prawn katsu. The prawn was okay, but the pork was below standard- very dry, and the crumb had separated from the meat. Wouldn’t really recommend it for anyone looking for a quality dining experience. Had Flying Salmon but it wasn't so great. Small portion of salmon and soba was too much in one bowl dumped with not so great taste. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
