Many visitors come to order nicely cooked pork. Delicious beer is waiting for you at this bar. Fabulous service is something that people highlight in their reviews. When inside, the atmosphere is cool. But as a potential guest, keep in mind that the Yelp rating of Foggy Bottom Tavern is not high.

This location has closed and is out of business - many turn overs at this location. Nothing seems to be able to last here.

Last night I had the pleasure of going to this new bar/restaurant and I am so glad we tried it out. My first impression was WOW this place is really nice! It has an upscale NYC feel and its a great big open space - they even have double wide open front doors perfect for summer/fall nights - I really loved the atmosphere. The menu really surprised me I never expected so many choices - they have appetizers - soups and chili - wraps - healthy choices that don't taste healthy which were rest like Avocado Toast and Cauliflower Cheese bread - Sliders with choice of brisket or pulled pork - all kinds of fancy grilled cheese - tons of side dishes - build your own burger with some real fancy topping choices - even a great kids menu - the list goes on. It was great because we had a table of friends that were on Paleo and Ketogenic diets so they were happy with so many choices. You can tell from the menu they have a chef and not your run of the mill bar cook. I had the Black cherry wings and they were phenomenal! We ordered 8 dishes and shared them all and every single dish was something I would definitely order again. It was a real treat. The drink menu was really different I really appreciate the entire theme of this place and i def would come again for lunch - dinner or a night out. Oh and the wait staff was great our waitress refilled our waters all night without us having to wait or ask and she new the menu well and made some great suggestions for us. The best part was our waitress was smiling - a lot of times you go places and the staff looks miserable or stressed and I didn't get that vibe at all here - The owner came over and he was really nice and chatted with us for a few minutes and when we left hours later he thanked us for coming and i thought that was really nice. I would definitely consider having my next get together here maybe doing a birthday or anniversary party. The parking lot is so huge that I wouldn't have to worry about my guests having a hard time finding parking. From the decor to the menu to the staff this is not your typical bar - I highly recommend the Foggy Bottom Tavern!
