Had high hopes for this place based on review and it was very very average. The written menu outside and inside didn’t match what was on offer nor did the prices. Food was pretty flavourless and basically cold (they just quickly reheat it in the microwave before giving it to you). Servers kept trying to up-sell us on more items than we wanted. Wasn’t clear what the price was until we paid and really wasn’t very cheap given what we got… wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend as looks like there are multiple cheap eat options around. We were quite surprised to read this review, as we remember your visit.You arrived at around 3:00 PM, when lunch service was almost over. As a small restaurant serving freshly prepared food every day, some dishes may naturally sell out towards the end of service — especially on busy days, which fortunately are quite common for us.During your visit, you ordered a portion of lasagna, a meat main course with a side dish, a meat supplì and a bottle of water, for a total of €18.50 for two people.Considering both the amount ordered and our location in the heart of Trastevere, we believe our prices are fair and transparent.We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations, but we feel it is important to provide some context for anyone reading this review.We wish you all the best and hope you enjoy the rest of your time in Rome.

Super friendly bloke. I wanted to try different lasagne and he obliged with 3 bite sized portions. The truffle lasagne us sublime. And the cooked veg is so good. Highly recommend. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

Delectable food and great service. The staff were v friendly and helpful. Tiramisu is really good and genorous. We spent 4€ on the tiramisu which was a genorous portion even bigger than the ‘big’ option at the famous 2 sizes tiramisu in Rome. It was raining when we were about to leave and we didn’t have any umbrellas. The staff were really nice in letting us stay and told us to stay as long as we’d like so wouldn’t get wet. Do come as you won’t always get food this worth it! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Order type: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: €10–20
