Food has always been a favourite with me and the wife, but our last visit was a little of a disappointment to be honest. We had relatives over from Florida for a London vacation but they had a couple of days to kill in Worthing, and they had been to Food in previous visits so that was chosen in spite of my recent experience with the place. Sadly, some items were off of the menu and a very unfriendly Eastern European server got the evening off to a bad start. Their garlic bread, which in previous times has been amazing, has been totally changed and has now slumped to mediocre at best. Sadly everybody’s dining experience that night was just ok. It was an important evening for us but ended up being slightly embarrassing for us brits. It was a middle of the week night and the place was empty apart from one other table......not good. Up your game Food or will soon be just history.
