We know that we ordered a banana pancake and expected it to be sweet but maybe not this sweet. The whipped cream did balance the sweetness but maybe some more acidity would help cutting the sweetness. The pancakes were quite fluffy actually. Toasty Turtle Cafe is a lovely little spot with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. I tried the caramel banana pancake and it was delicious—fluffy, sweet, and perfectly balanced with caramelized bananas and a generous drizzle of caramel sauce. The coffee was excellent too, and the presentation of everything was really thoughtful. Service was quick despite the place being busy, and the cozy interior made it a great spot to relax. Definitely coming back to try more from the menu!
