Dak wings have best sauce EVER! Such a great surprise find on my first trip to Chicago. Service was incredible and chef even entertained my request to take a small side of sauce home to share with my family. This will be a MUST stop on each future trip!
Forastero in Old Town Chicago is a small restaurant which not only provides excellent customer service but serves fresh and delicious food!   For an appetizer I recommend the Big Bird (Korean-Style Grilled Chicken topped with Leafy Garnish and Spicy Sesame Sauce) - I'm not sure how they manage to pack so many flavors inside of it, but they sure do!   For an entrée I recommend the Rice Bowl (Chicken, Steamed Rice, Sautéed Spinach, Radish, Zucchini, Shiitake Mushrooms, Bean Sprouts, Carrots, topped with a Fried Egg and Sesame Oil).  I can normally finish any meal served to me; however, the bowls at Forastero are so plentiful I challenge you to try!   If you love supporting brick-and-mortar type establishments, going off the beaten path, then Forastero is your place!!
Whoa! What a terrific find, right here on North Ave, Lincoln Park! Korean-Mexican fusion, an explosively delicious marriage of two cuisines. I ordered the vegetarian Bibimbop with Tofu. They asked if I wanted a sunnyside up egg on top, which I did. The photographs posted by other Yelpers are on point. Every single vegetable was delicious, particularly the spinach which was perfectly sautéed in garlic, served on a bed of rice that had the perfect crispy base. My son ordered three tacos, they looked and tasted delicious and my sister has ordered 'The Ship' here before and stated it was exceptional! We will definitely be coming here again. A young, hip crowd dining here on a Thursday night. What a gem!
