We know hospitality, and we could feel the care behind every detail. My husband and I both have backgrounds in hospitality, with my own experience specifically in high-end fine dining. I’ve always had a deep love for hospitality making people feel special, creating moments, and giving someone an experience they’ll remember long after the meal is over. Although I’ve since stepped away from hospitality to pursue my creative side, that love for creating an experience has followed me into everything I do. Because of that, I’ll admit I can sometimes be difficult to impress when dining out. You can often feel when the love isn’t quite there whether it’s in the food, the atmosphere, or the service. This was not one of those experiences. From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted warmly and genuinely, and promptly seated. The service felt like a well-oiled machine — or, better yet, a heart that never skipped a beat. Every detail seemed to move together effortlessly, like a beautiful symphony. We were congratulated on our anniversary countless times throughout the evening, and every acknowledgment felt genuine rather than obligatory. One of my favorite touches was receiving a complimentary glass of Prosecco while we looked over the menu. It was such a simple gesture, but it immediately made us feel taken care of. I didn’t have to think about what I was going to drink or rush into deciding what we wanted to order. We could simply sip, relax, and talk about our game plan for the meal. That is hospitality. It’s the little details that make people feel cared for, and this team understood that beautifully. The food, atmosphere, timing, and service all came together to create an experience that felt intentional from beginning to end. As someone who has spent years on the other side of hospitality, I genuinely appreciate when I can recognize the care, pride, and teamwork that goes into making an evening feel effortless. A very big thank you to Rebecca, Matt, and Duane. You each played such a special part in making our evening memorable, and we truly appreciate the care, warmth, and attention you gave us. It was such a pleasure to experience hospitality that clearly comes from the heart. Thank you for helping make our anniversary so special. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $90–100

All we ordered with exception of artichokes (very tough outer leaves but excellent aioli) was tasty and well plated. Service was great. Ravioli was small serving. Chicken, lamb, steak, and brandino was excellent. Expensive as expected in Birmingham especially drinks. Served bday baked Alaska and worth every calorie! Forest is such a hidden gem! The food is consistently 10/10, and the recent renovation has made the space even more inviting and vibey. The service is always exceptional, and the staff really knows the menu—they can speak to every dish and make great recommendations. I also love that the menu changes seasonally. It’s thoughtful, creative, and delicious! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
