Fantastic Italian food. Carlos our server was wonderful. Get the burrata with prosciutto and melon. Gluten free sensitivity was taken very seriously. Garlic bread with oil and pickled veggies is delicious. Phony negroni was a pleasant surprise. Everything about this place was exceptional— the food, the atmosphere, and the service! I had the steak frites, the paccheri, and nonna's meatball. My partner had the Caesar salad, the cacio e pepe, and the chicken parmesan. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. I also want to give a huge acknowledgement to our waitress, Anna B. Her service was the cherry on top to a perfect night. I couldn't have asked for a more attentive and kind waitress— her service was excellent! I sadly do not live in Chicago, but I would return just for this place! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–60 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

What a gem of a spot! I attended a wedding in their event space and everything was perfect. The food was outstanding, the space was beautiful and the staff was attentive and kind. Their event coordinator, Wendy, was the most thoughtful, helpful, do-anything-for-you person. I'm from Detroit and I wish we had a Formento's in my town. I'm so grateful I got to experience this one of a kind restaurant. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
