Surrounded by design workshops of major brands in the outskirts of southern Milan, Forno di Barona is difficult to find unless one is familiar with the area. Well know as a bakery, the place has earned quite a name for itself for its lunch. During the lunch hours, it is flooded with people working in the surrounding area. However the food quality does not match up to the name. The kitchen operates 24 hours and at times some of the stuff on display is not very fresh. Noon time would be the best time to visit Forno di Barona, when it is getting ready for lunch time rush to get fresh food.
