Came during lunch hour. Slow service. Getting our drinks took 40 minutes... The food over an hour and the rice came cold. Ordered a Strawberry mojito mocktail (halal place they dont serve alcohol) and the came with like a smoothie . We told the waiter that this is not a mojito, yet they simply claimed that is was See photo and decide for yourself. No mint also... Prices were decent though. Not expensive. The location of Forodhani Restaurant is really nice — close to Fort Jesus with a beautiful sea view. The staff were friendly and the coffee was actually very good. But honestly, the food was less than okay. I ordered the plov, and the lamb had almost no taste and was hard to chew. The naan bread was strangely sweet, like they added sugar to it. I also tried the paneer cheese dish, but it was too oily and the cheese quality itself didn’t taste good, maybe because of the milk quality used. Overall, the best parts of this place are the view, the coffee, and the staff — not really the food. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5
