Excellent food and fantastic service! We ordered the steak and the pasta, and both were cooked perfectly. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the night. Definitely our new favorite spot in town—highly recommend checking it out!

Right in the heart of Galle is **Fort Bazaar**, where we stayed for three nights from Monday 16 March 2026. The hotel proved to be a perfect starting point for exploring the rich colonial history that characterizes the city. The room and facilities gave us a comfortable and relaxing base – everything was clean, well-done and with several nice eateries that made the meals small highlights. The hospitality was exactly as we have experienced it elsewhere in Sri Lanka: warm, friendly and naturally contacting. It felt like everyone we met wanted us to thrive, and we really did. Galle offered a unique mix of colonial history, architecture, museums and beautiful photo motifs around every turn. In addition, we found several hidden gems – small beaches, local markets and a small-town life that was both charming and genuine. It was easy to appreciate this city, and Fort Bazaar made our stay complete. Service: 4
