I celebrated a family anniversary at the Fossa del Lupo restaurant, a typical mountain restaurant that stands out for its rustic and welcoming environment, ideal for those who love tradition and tranquility. However, the experience was mixed. The starter was a little poor and lacking in originality, with portions that did not fully meet expectations. The first course, however, was able to redeem the evening: the pappardelle with wild boar and porcini ragù was excellent, tasty and well prepared. The second course, a mixed roast, was partially disappointing: the sausage was good and the lamb was decent, but the pork slices were inedible, with an acidic taste that suggested that the meat had gone bad. A shame, considering the suggestive context. With a little more attention to the quality of the ingredients, the restaurant could offer a truly satisfying experience.
