Let's get this out of the way, Fossil House doesn't look like much from the outside, and I feel this is detrimental to the place. It was quite quiet for a Saturday night, but we're very glad we came here. The fish and chips was fantastic! The staff was very friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. Pricing seemed fair, for what was excellent food. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Fish and Chips

Best fry up breakfast I've had in many years. Fossil Breakfast XL - Fantastic unique hashbrowns, quality meat, good portions and rich in flavours. Try it before seasoning as it was already bang on. The beef and chicken burgers were great too. Nice to have some food with some thought and care gone into it. Although mostly good, one minor comment would be just a touch more attentive to customers for ordering more or other things they may need, like condiments refill on table. I had to que up a few times to order more etc after not catching eyes or not being asked but no big deal really, Highly Recommend!
