The only thing that disappoints when you visit this restaurant is the cute staff. But google gives it 4.4 so you can select Foundation Kitchen to have a good time here.

Wonderful experience and GREAT sake collection. We came for the omakase experience right next to Foundation Kitchen, but the Sake collection here and the wonderful time with Phil really made sure that we would come back again. Upon Phil’s recommendation, we had the Kokuryu “black dragon” and Masumi Arabashiri “First Run” to pair with the omakase and was definitely what we wished for. And also highly recommend the sparkling sake as dessert wine. Beautiful place to come and enjoy the drinks as well as the community. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Hi Shane, Thanks so much for your review. As Foundation Kitchen, we run the bar and own/manage the food hall and shared kitchen, with all the food in the space coming from member businesses. We are a tiny ma-and-pop business trying to create a welcoming and versatile space for the Charlestown community, so are always looking for ways to improve our facility.
