Great place, great food, lovely staff. It would be 5* if they allowed well behaved dogs in the bar, it's a rural location with a lot of dog walkers who would probably love to have lunch after a long walk, customers who don't like dogs can avoid the bar completely. We regularly go for long walks with the dog on Sundays but unfortunately we have to go elsewhere as it's a bit awkward having to get your own carvery and leave the dog outside, shame really, they are missing out on a unique selling point in the area.

Thank you to the Staff at The Fountain. Called in and had a carvery. Food was excellent quality. And service was excellent as well. Will call in again if ever passing through and want food. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dishes: Yorkshire Pudding, Roast Beef
