I really didn't want to write this review at first. However, I had to. The place looks and feels fantastic. Beautiful location with small ponds, flowers, and tables spread throughout their property. When you walk in you are immediately greeted by a very welcoming staff. Took time to explain things about the area, and their amenities, etc. The decor inside and out is just beautiful. Who ever is responsible for this have impeccable taste. The room was spotless as well and had a very clean smell. The place was immaculate. Overall a 10 out of 10. With that in mind, we just had to eat in their restaurant the 1832 Tavern located at the same location. That's where it turned bad. We were seated at roughly 5:30 on June 19th. We started with drinks and an order of mozzarella sticks. When they arrived they looked great with a golden brown crispy outer shell. (No plates or set up yet though). When you bit into them, they were Luke warm and felt exactly like you were biting into a hotdog. No warm melting cheese, just a cold center. Extremely disappointing at best. For the main course, my wife ordered fish and chips and I ordered the pan seared pork loin. A short time later our food arrived, both dishes looking fantastic! However, It was quickly discovered both dishes were luke warm at best. The fish and chips arrived with no ketchup or tartar sauce. When we managed to finally get her attention to ask, by the time it showed, the food had no warmth left. My wife said it still had a good taste, but I was extremely annoyed by now. My Pork was served over potato wedges. Pork was very good, not hot, potatoes were extremely cold, not even luke warm!We made excuses that it may have been because we sat at 5:30 and perhaps the kitchen wasn't ready? The waitress asked how the meal was, and we told her that it was all cold, but that it wasn't her fault. The place has so much potential. It's really too bad. The food being cold, may or may not have been the servers fault. However, the lack of plates, and zero condiments falls on her though. We still tipped well, (probably a mistake), but I had such high hopes for the dinner, the place was so awesome. After, we were allowed to take a drink and sit outside near the pond which was very nice. Later we went to our room for the night and decided that we were going to skip breakfast there based on that meal. If this place gets the food situation down, I would say they would have a one two punch! Until then, I think we'll check back another time. I really did like the entire vibe and energy this place has to offer. For me, a dining experience can make or break a good vacation. This was a swing and a miss.

Can’t comment about the inn as we didn’t stay there, but the food is terrible.
