Seeing Synagogue Groningen asks for time and efforts, so if you feel hungry afterwards, come to this restaurant for a tasty meal. Mexican dishes are on the menu at Four Roses. Nicely cooked nacho chips, chicken enchiladas and chicken quesadillas can make a good impression on you. If hungry, come here for good churros and tasty fudge. You will hardly forget delicious strawberry margarita, piña colada or beer that you can enjoy. Get your meal started with great coffee.

The warm atmosphere of this place makes customers feel relaxed and have a nice time. The staff is gracious that's what makes this spot so good. People say that the service is nice here. Democratic prices are what you will pay for your meal. Unfortunately, visitors don't recommend the terrific decor. I have been wanting to try this restaurant for the past 5 years of living here and I'm glad I did. I had a reservation for 4 people but we still waited to be sat for 30-45 minutes (!!). We were even waiting with some other people who also had reservations but couldn't go to their tables at the desired time, which was extremely annoying for everyone. When we finally sat down, we got our drinks which were decent and the service was friendly but forgetful. We sat in the ground floor and we had two servers around us but they kept forgetting our drinks, food, and what else we had ordered. I ordered a glass of water but that never came, for example, and my boyfriend had ordered a tequila tasting which also was never registered and had to remind the staff about it. Food: With the food, it was good, it wasn't anything out of this world. It lacked some flavor and even some spice. Due to lactose intolerance, I ordered the solo combo quesadillas dish with lactose free cheese but I got some chicken and a toasted tortilla on top... no sign of any lactose free cheese or cream. The portions compared to the price were unfair, with little rice and a random tomato and lettuce mixed into the dish, it lacked soul. However, the chicken was tasty, but that's the only detail in the whole dish that stood out to me. Overall, I had good expectations and unfortunately they were not met. I would love to give it another shot but I might just head there for snacks and drinks. Price per person: €30–40 Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4 Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian options, I did not try them though so I'm not sure how good they are. Dietary restrictions: I was lactose intolerant and they said that they have lactose free cheese and sour cream but I received nothing so I'm not sure if it's even worth it.

The BEST Tex - Mexican restaurant in town! Make sure to call in advance to reserve a spot. It will be very busy on a regular basis and especially during the weekends. Very friendly owner and well trained staff. Nice to see they enjoy working there. Pleasant atmosphere and very good quality food and homemade fudge Large selection of cocktails are available, and they also have quite a few different tequilas that can be tasted.
