Finally getting my first-hand experience visiting this cafe. Probably the last time, too. In terms of location, Fow Coffee is really aesthetic. I was thinking about inviting guests from out of town to have coffee here one day, but I decided against it because the service was disappointing. First, of course the matter of serving the food for a long time. But for me this is tolerable, maybe the kitchen is busy because there are lots of orders. Second, the menu can only be opened via scanning a QR code. Many people have reviewed how inefficient this method is compared to printed menu books. Whoever is the first person to think that it's a good idea to serve menu using QR code must be put in prison now. Apart from ordering, you also use an integrated website. The problem is that the menu is also in pdf format which is saved on Google Drive, and orders are still made through employees. It's better to just use the printed menu. Third, about the taste of the food and drinks I ordered. I describe them one by one: 1. Chicken Yakimi Don. This is the best of all the things I ordered. I think the chicken is a bit sweet, but still tolerable. What disappointed me was that this was the last menu to arrive at the table, but it wasn't warm at all. Even the rice and eggs were cold. I'm quite struggling to finish this. Even though it might be better if it wasn't cold. 2. Fow Sando. I thought this sandwich was filled with meat. No matter if there's meat or even cheese, it turns out it's just lettuce, tomatoes and spicy mayonnaise. Maybe it was my fault for not looking at the menu in detail (or did it not describe the contents?). But this is the first time I ordered a sandwich at a cafe in Palembang, and it only contained vegetables. 3. Vanilla Panna Cotta. I originally ordered matcha, but it was empty. This is delicious. But it's really annoying for me. The pudding is already sweet, the ice cream is sweet, covered with an even sweeter caramel topping. Maybe this could be delicious for people with a sweet tooth. But for me, it's too sweet. 4. Claudy X Mass. Honestly, I wanted to order bandrek, but the waiter said it was empty. Be swerving to order this drink. I don't remember in the menu description he mentioned fermented ingredients. But this drink tastes sour, like spoiled milk. I'm really sorry if my tongue is cheesy and it feels like that's how it should be. But if it doesn't feel like it should be, it means there's something wrong with the compounding. Please investigate if you don't mind. 5. Mineral water. At Fow Coffee the mineral water is called fountain water and is served in glass bottles. FYI this wasn't on the menu, so I asked the employee directly. It turns out there is mineral water. Unfortunately he didn't say the mineral water wasn't bottled water. But I'm still relieved because what was served wasn't Equil. Fourth, and this is what made me decide never to go to Fow Coffee again: the cashier was annoyed. I've been asking myself from the start, how will I pay for this? The tables don't have numbers. It turned out that when we wanted to pay, the cashier asked where we sat and what we ordered. How do we explain where we are sitting and mention something on our menu if we forget? Luckily I wrote down what I ordered. This guessing process took a while because the cashier didn't know which table we were at, which in my opinion was a stupid situation because this problem could have been prevented by giving each table a number, which of course you didn't do. He read the order of one of the tables, who knew it was our order. Then when I asked him to mention the last thing he mentioned, he just kept quiet, printed out a list of table orders and gave it to me without saying anything while frowning. It was as if he wanted to say "check it yourself sono, I'm tired of talking to you". Are you tired? You know, we're even more tired, spending a lot of money just for a menu that's disappointing (and it takes a really long time to arrive), and then having to deal with you and payment techniques that aren't clear. Dear management, please reprimand the cashier. We paid Saturday 8/31 around 21.30 Finally, I took the motorbike out of the parking lot myself, turned the motorbike around myself. Eh, when I was about to go to the road, suddenly a parking attendant appeared asking for money. No longer helping, asking for money. A good combination to make me never want to go back to Fow again Service: Dine in Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4
