A very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. We got the gin tasting selection which was excellent. Food was delicious. Did not expect to find such a gem hidden away in the hills.

Accessibility- Flat parking with stairs and a ramp is available to enter and exit establishment. Flooring is polished concrete through entry and inside, with artificial grass outside. Seating available inside, outside and around the side. A big range of high bar style seats, low dining seats and bench/picnic available. Staff were really lovely and were willing to explain and answer questions at anytime. We all enjoyed our food-The loaded hotdog (special) The Fox burger and Nam-Jim Salt Pepper squid. The food was beautiful and came out really quickly. Very ample size portions. The Foxdog distillery is a very clean and well manecured throughout the establishment. Plenty of toilets which were nice and clean. Half way through eating, staff extended the outdoor blind which doesnt effect any of the view but did assist with the warm from the sun. The range of Gin is fantastic with perfect descriptions. The staff member was spot on with her instructions with the Tasting flight which added to the experience. The German beer was thouroughly enjoyed by a non beer drinker, his 2nd visit here and 2nd time ordering this beer. A very visually appealing place to drink, eat and be merry. Where else could you go and drink Gin and Beer whilst listening to the lions roar from the zoo down the road! Definitely returning to pleasure our tastebuds!

Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a detailed and thoughtful review of your experience with us; it truly means a lot to our entire team. We’re so pleased you found the venue accessible and comfortable. Creating a welcoming space for everyone is important to us, and it’s great to hear our team helped make your visit enjoyable. It’s also wonderful to hear you enjoyed the food, the loaded hotdog, Fox Burger, and Nam Jim Salt & Pepper Squid are favourites, and we’ll pass your kind words on to our kitchen team. Glad you enjoyed the gin tasting flight too — our staff love guiding guests through that experience. We have to agree, there are not many places where you can enjoy a G&T or a German beer while hearing lions in the background. It is a very special part of being here. Thank you again for your kind words and support. We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
