Rigatoni alla vodka and burrata caprese was my #1 pick but the Alfredo was also really good~ Hope was our waitress and was awesome! She gave great suggestions and was happy to serve us Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We are locals, we had an exceptionally long day working in town, desperate for good food and to finally be served after spending the whole day serving others. We were SO hungry. We were sat upstairs, outside! The atmosphere was so cute, and the service was prompt and friendly. Hannah was absolutely amazing and I was also politely greeted by my dear friend Meaghan whom I hadn’t seen in a year or two! Hannah’s service was excellent, super friendly, informative, and relaxed. She took her time with us and met every need, sometimes before being asked! The food was amazing and this was some of the fastest service I’ve ever received anywhere. 10/10 in every aspect and I will be back promptly!! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

So you're in Helen for the first time! One of the main tourist destinations of Georgia. And you're thinking of choosing this restaurant to go too but aren't sure, well walk through this review to get a good idea of what to expect: -You will learn that in order to access the restaurant you will have to climb a set of stairs in order to get to the host podium, this isnt an issue for most of course, but something to be mindful of as someone with a disability or with children as you will have to carry your stroller up the steps: because of this I rate accessibility a 3. -The staff and service was satisfactory, waitresses seem knowledgeable in the menu and offer insight forthright on their favorite selections and what's popular, I rate the service 4 because 5 is beyond exceptional and I would say they didn't go out of their way too go above and beyond, not saying they need too but again I can't remember the servers name and I think I speak for most that when receiving exceptional customer service you typically remember their name. -Atmosphere I rate a 4, again servers I feel play a feature into this rating, beyond this, inside was comfortable, however, outside seating had a plastic insulator that wrapped around what I'm assuming is a deck. This also insulated all of the heat inside the area, with the outside temp being 65 with the light being poured into the room, it easily made the inside around 78-80. Needless to say it was VERY uncomfortable and there was no attempt to lift the plastic insulator up (it is movable). The inside dinning area (like the rest of the town) is decorated in a Dutch/German theme that fit the esthetic. Bar is at the entrance to the inside and spans i believe 12 seats (didn't count but seemed appropriate given the space). Tables where clean and prepped as expected and people where quite and appropriate. This was at 11:00AM when we had visited. -Now the important part, the food: The menu had variety and the server did mention that you could mix and match different pasta types with pasta sauces when ordering dishes that permit it. They also.included a gluten free option which is a nice touch for those with gluten allergens or who wish to stay away from gluten. Lightly toasted bread is provided at the beginning of the experience with an olive oil & balsamic vinegar sauce to dip your slices of bread. We ordered the mozzarella fritta; these lightly battered sticks i believe are hand made as the batter tasted fresh and was light, crispy, and didn't leave the taste of a fryer in your mouth. My entrée was the chicken parmagian with the vodka marinara rigatoni pasta, the sauce was made with cheese and was tangy with what tasted and felt like bacon bits mixed in. The pasta however, is what saved the dish, the chicken I believe was a chicken breast flattened into a thin patty and fried, the chicken did not taste fresh. This was surprising given that the appetizer minutes before gave the expectation that all dishes would be made to order. The chicken was covered in a marinara sauce that was pre-made which was expected as this point, the cut of chicken was chewy and fatty in certain areas and made me feel like either the chicken wasn't processed meticulously or that this was a frozen patty taken from the freezer and re-fried. The taste was bland and left ALOT to be desired. For this reason I gave food a 3, and the pasta gets the bulk if not all the points in this this section of the review. I rate Francesco's Restobar at a 3.5 overall, I don't typically count price into my review but felt the need to mention it since my plate alone was right around 20 dollars, with the average price of a dish being around 25 dollars. For the price I feel I could have gone to olive garden and gotten the same dish and had it equal.in taste or better. Francescos Restobar feels like it's trying to position itself as more of a finer dinning restaurant but falls short in taste. I would recommend trying something else if you do dine with them but to be mindful that this was one of, If not, the cheapest dish on the menu.
