This is the best accommodation on Naoshima and the place that delivers the best coffee. The owners are kind and have such pleasant personalities; Frankie is handsome and Nami is pretty. It was the most spacious accommodation I have ever stayed in in Japan. I especially loved that the bathroom was as big as the room itself. The place was clean overall, and the woody scent that greeted me when I first entered cleared my head and put me in a good mood. Oh, and I had an amazing experience washing my hair in the morning using the herbal shampoo provided at the accommodation—almost no hair fell out! So I took a picture of it to show you. ^^ The coffee tasted excellent as well, so if you visit Naoshima, I highly recommend trying it here. At the very least, if you enjoy iced lattes, I highly recommend the decaffeinated cafe latte. Thanks to you, I had a wonderful stay. I hope to see you again.

We had a really lovely stay for 2 nights @ Francoile. Such an authentic, cosy & lovely place at Naoshima, everything goes by heart! All the recommandations we got just been perfect. We love to be a guest hosted by locals. The owner family is so kind & helpfulat least today they took us to our early morning ferry to be on time, so lovely. Btw the coffee & food is really yummi! I stopped by this café for my first coffee after arriving on the island. As usual, I ordered a latte. It was very good—I really enjoyed the flavor of the coffee. I’m confident they use high-quality beans. The cup was also beautiful, and it genuinely enhanced the experience. I loved drinking my latte from it. In the future, I might even buy a similar cup for the lattes I make at home. The staff were welcoming, and overall everything was great. Nothing to complain about. It’s a solid spot to enjoy a good coffee. Service: 5
