French and German cuisines are to visitors' taste at this cafe. Based on the guests' opinions, waiters offer tasty rolls and perfectly cooked pies here. Tasting good chocolate cakes, chocolate mousse and croissants is what a number of clients recommend. Come here and have great coffee.

Report incorrect information
Bought 24 macarons ($2 each when you buy more than 12) which weren't packed in front of me. The dude behind the counter took an empty box into the back of the kitchen and out of sight. That was my first mistake!
Got them home only to see they were all in one box, one on top of the other, all of varying sizes (real French macarons are supposed to be uniform and perfectly round) and half of them were crushed.
The flavours were equally disappointing... rosewater macaron was the worst -- very artificial flavour. Couldn't distinguish other flavours... all very bland and just sweet biscuits really. Very heavy on the food colouring too -- green pistachio macaron left my tongue very green, hubby's purple blackcurrant left his tongue very purple etc etc.
We've had many macarons in the past but none have been as disappointing and disastrous as these ones. What a waste of $24.
My pet hate is cafes / restaurants masquerading as the real deal. Francois is one of these places... about as French as my Woolies croissants.
