I have been here four or five times now, it’s always a good experience overall. Great drinks, some amazing food and awesome desserts. It doesn’t get boisterously loud inside either which I really appreciate. Only took one star off because their food is sometimes not always the same level of excellence. There’s usually one or two items per meal at my table that someone just doesn’t care for. The risotto specifically has been very hit or miss, sometimes way too salty or with way too much cheese in it. But if you know the menu well there are some star items that are always good. The beef carpaccio is a long standing favorite, and I got the egg custard over peach sorbet for dessert last time I went and it was amazing, I almost licked the dish clean. Coming from Seattle, we visited Piacere Trattoria Italiana for the first time down in Burien for a light dinner and came away very impressed. We had their Margherita pizza and beet salad with fried goat cheese. Both were done to perfection. We were so impressed with these two dishes that we tossed the idea of a light dinner out the window and decided to go with the "Trio" dessert of tiramisu, zabaglione & profiteroles as recommended by chef Michele. I can only say that this dessert was outstanding. Tiramisu and zabaglione were fresh and light, and the cream-filled profiterole tasted like it came right out of the oven. I must visit again to try their "cacio e pepe" pasta that is tossed in a giant parmesan cheese bowl and their pesto pasta...I can't wait! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $20–30
