My first time in Detroit and this restaurant really made my morning!!! I got French toast and eggs and my boyfriend got biscuits and gravy and both were phenomenal! The chef was so nice asking if everything was okay. Our waitress was also very attentive and filled up my iced tea as soon as it became empty. Loved everything about this place and it would definitely be a regular morning breakfast spot for me if I lived here. Service: Dine in Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My friend and I stopped by Frank's on the Avenue for lunch last week. It was our first time stepping foot into this quaint little restaurant. Great food, great waitress. Owner, Frank is the cook. All homemade soups, we had Italian Wedding and cabbage soups. I ordered a turkey Rueben sandwich. Came with "real" roasted turkey. It was amazing. Definitely will be back to this little gem of a restaurant in St. Clair Shores.
