I love this place we go to the Plainfield one all the time. Good food and great vibes. Constructive feedback though, and I am good because I don’t even like champagne but if you are going to go out with a new years deal with a confetti drop and a Champaign toast, you might want to give a person more than a half sip. Someone here on their first time, would wonder what are they doing hereparticularly calling out a new years celebration. Things to cheap out on new years probably doesn’t include champagne. Between that and hearing servers saying why aren’t people leaving at 835, not great. Either you want to do a new years celebration or you don’t. To have a 7pm seating an expect people out by 8:30 not realistic. Check delivered two minutes after Confetti drop was also not ideal, when not asked for. You are either doing a new years celebration or not, but don’t sell it and then undeliver. Just my feedback to an otherwise great restaurant.
