The food was good, but not what I ordered. If you're going to advertise Nutella "stuffed" French toast and even show a picture of stuffed French toast and you have the audacity to throw a spoonful of Nutella atop my French toast you deserve this rating.

So so sad to see FQB go... I was on the email list for your whole email list lifetime, but I didn't see any notice! I was busy with my new baby during the apparent close in Aug. IDK if I missed your notice or if there wasn't one. :-( Mark VanHorn, PLEASE make it known if you are going to cook somewhere else!!!! Anywhere! Please let us know!!!!! We loved your style and selections! patch.com/pennsylvania/l…

We have been here several times before and loved it.  So, we planned a nice birthday dinner here with family.  We made reservations, we checked the website for updates, we visited their FB page, we called and spoke to a human.  Much to our surprise, after sitting at the bar and enjoy and pre-dinner drink (that was not served with a smile), we were sat in the dining room and handed a photo-copied piece of paper posing as their "new menu", that contained cheesesteaks, burgers, sandwiches, some fried food and TWO entrees: a "blackened filet" over mac and cheese, and a "jerk rubbed tuna" over linguine.  That's it.  And they were $30 dollars.  No lie.  The host told us "We ran out of ingredients."  Seriously? Do I look that stupid to believe that nonsense?  Now, if you are making a change where all you are going to offer is bar food and no longer offering your dinner menu, wouldn't you post that on your website? Note it on your FB page? Put a sign on the door for people to be informed before walking in and sitting down?  Or here's an idea --- Have the person that took my reservation tell me, "hey, we have a very limited menu and do you want cheesesteaks and burgers for your very nice birthday dinner?"  No one said anything to us, and then on top of it acted surprised and indignant that we were not pleased with the 2 overpriced choices. The filet was in no way blackened.  One person's mac and cheese was a plate of mac and cheese, while others had sausage and shrimp, and others had what appeared to be handfuls of chopped green pepper.  They didn't even have bread. The whole night was ridiculous (and freaking expensive), with the exception of our server Dan, who did the best he could with the situation.  Apparently, they are undergoing NEW OWNERSHIP and didn't want people to know.  There was no manager or supervisor to speak to. I posted on their FB page when I came home, and within 10 minutes, my comment was removed (and it was actually nicer than this post).  I am so disappointed and quite frankly, angry that this place thinks they can just disregard customers the way they did. If the NEW OWNER thinks this is the way to introduce his/her new business, I really wish them the best of luck because they just lost six customers. Au Revoir French Quarter Bistro.
