Fresco Kitchen, a fine dining establishment in Bathurst, offers Mediterranean/Italian cuisine with a cozy ambiance and friendly staff. The interior design is simple yet elegant, with a relaxed vibe that makes it perfect for intimate dinners or a night out with friends. Prices are on the higher side, but the quality of the food justifies the cost. Located in the heart of downtown Bathurst, the restaurant offers outdoor seating for those who prefer to dine al fresco.
Some standout dishes on the menu include the seafood charcuterie board, featuring incredibly fresh seafood, and the homemade bucatini with seafood, a must-try if it's still available. The lamb racks and filet mignon were cooked to perfection, while the PIE mussels with saffron sauce were bursting with flavor. For dessert, the chocolate cake and creme brulee were over-the-top delicious.
The bar offers a variety of cocktails, including mocktails for designated drivers. The wine list is well-priced and features high-quality wines, such as Cabernet Sauvignon. Soft drinks are also available for those who prefer non-alcoholic beverages.
Overall, Fresco Kitchen is a hidden gem in Bathurst that should not be missed. With exceptional food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere, it's the perfect spot for a special occasion or a romantic date night.

First time there as I'm from out of town. The food was excellent! The chef is a crasftman, and a good entertainer. Had the lobster galettes, pork belly, and the arrancini. One as great as the other. Drinks and cocktails were all on point. Back to Calgary now, cheers Joel! See you next visit. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
Fresco Kitchen is by far the best food you’ll have in Bathurst. The portions are generous and everything is absolutely delicious. The service is friendly, quick & attentive. We sat at the bar and loved watching Joel cook and chatting with him. If it’s still on the menu, try the homemade bucatini with seafood.
