It says a lot when the preparation team takes real pride in their work. While waiting, I stepped back and watched the team at Fresh Boston – Cambridgeside build my sandwich. The cleanliness, care, and attention to detail were immediately obvious. Everything looked organized, fresh, and intentional. The sandwich itself was packed, fresh, and absolutely worth the price. There’s fast food and then there’s Fresh Boston. Great experience all around. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Large vegetarian selection

5 stars just on the focaccia alone. It’s salty and crispy yet not too dense. It’s a really good for a sandwich. I got the chipwich twice. Some chips in there, turkey, bacon, avocado.. what more can you want. They even sell their focaccia as is. So I definitely need some of that! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

A lunch spot I want to love because the food is great but the service has been really spotty. I’ve been a couple of times and the sandwhiches are always fantastic. The bread, especially the focaccia, is so flavorful and fresh. They also don’t skimp on the ingredients so definitely ends up being worth the price. What gives me pause coming back is always the service. The first time I went I ordered an then spent 20 minutes waiting for my sandwhich while watching one of the employees just standing there scrolling on his phone. It didn’t require anything from the back of the kitchen either so there definitely wasn’t a need for it to take that long. Another time I stood at the cash register for 5 minutes and no one was there to take my order even though I could see people standing in the kitchen. Maybe I just need to order ahead online but the lack of service turns me off from grabbing lunch here. Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 3
