ALEPH SHALOMThe happiest day of my life was after visiting Harova Market. I am so glad that I took the chance to visit Harova Market on yesterday before noon Thursday March 9, 2023. I was able to find a reserved for Harova Market customers parking slot. Then I noticed there were free small push carts I grabbed one immediately. As I entered the store I was afraid I was coming through a wrong entrance so I asked the beautiful clerk to my right & she confirmed I was at the correct entrance. I had to take everything in there was so many options. I soon found (kosher) Greek yogurt peach & strawberry I grabbed one of each, a gluten free pizza (kosher) and put it in my basket. I could not believe they had vanilla caramel (kosher) ice cream I grabbed it and held on to it for dear life and put it in my basket. I then saw a frozen cake with white icing, with chocolate shavings and cherries and I thought no way!!!!! Is this my favorite dessert in the world???? It didn't have a label or price "Schwarz Walder Kirsch Torte is that you????" I saw a male employee and I asked, "Pardon Me Please is this a Schwartz Walder Kirsch Torte or Black Forest Cherry Cake it is a German Cake." He said he was not sure as he took it to go confirm it. He returned seconds later and said, "yes how did you know that? I smiled and said "It was my favorite dessert in Germany when I was stationed there in the U.S. Army. As I was shopping It was a beautiful experience I think I may have even been standing next to a "Rabbi" after I heard them being addressed as so I gasped for air as my mouth was in shock mode as I grinned with excitement. The smell of fresh hot bread baking fills the atmosphere but I didn't see any hot baked bread so I saw a friendly female behind the counter and I said, "I smell hot fresh bread baking but I don't see any do I have to buy frozen bread?" She said, "no we have hot bread" and she pulled the curtain open and said "see". My eyes lit up and I said, "yes". I saw medium large sized hot Challah rolls and I said "may I have one or two please how much are they? The clerk I met at the front door was slightly to my left now behind me and I heard her say, "4 for $5.25". I said, "ok I'll take four please". She pulled the curtain open and entered closed the curtain as I could no longer see her. I waited a few seconds and she emerged from behind the black curtain with four hot to my hands in a white bag challah rolls. I said "thank you" and I approached the counter to pay for my items. The employee who verified the cake and price picked up my frozen gluten free pizza and said "gluten free" I said "Yes...the wheat bothers my joints but I saw the other great looking pizzas too"... he said, "well you know we have a buy one get one free pizza special". I screamed "What"!!!!! like I just won the lottery. I said please show me and how much is it? I put my gluten free pizza back thinking maybe the wheat is that way because it is not Kosher. I thought to myself let me try the kosher wheat pizza then I can decide if I want to stay gluten free. He showed me the pizza that was buy one get one free and it was $9. I was like wow!!! Yes ...perfect. I asked if someone could ring me up and was told yes by the clerk I met at the entrance coming in. She rang me up and directed me to look at the screen where I saw every Item I ordered and the buy one get one free special on the two boxes of (kosher) pizza . It is good I put it in my halogen oven on yesterday when I got home. I tasted a teaspoon or two of the (kosher) vanilla caramel ice cream...straight heaven...very rich. Shabbos will never be the same again. I wish I new how to address the "Rabbi" but all I could say was "Pardon me please" I did not know how to properly address him as I have tattoos & braids, however I made sure I wore an elbow length shirt and knee length capris, & had my head covered thank goodness I would have never guessed that I would have ended up standing next to a "Rabbi" . I wished he would have introduced himself to me and told me how to address him but maybe next time
